Performances of Willy Russell’s iconic Blood Brothers (play version) are scheduled for September at The Turnpike in Leigh and tickets are already selling out.
Turnpike Community Theatre, as preparing for their forthcoming production of the play version of Blood Brothers which will open in September, with one performance having already sold out. The play tells the story of two brothers from Liverpool who are secretly parted at birth, and their experiences of growing up in very different surroundings.
The group’s artistic director commented, “This is the second production in Turnpike’s performance schedule for the year and represents an increase in terms of the number of performances for the year. Everyone here at Turnpike is very excited to be performing Blood Brothers. It is a script that we have wanted to perform for a number of years. Interest in the production has been very high with one performance having sold out within several weeks of tickets going on sale. This production should appeal to audiences of all ages.”
Tickets are now available for performances on Thursday 14th and Saturday 16th September at 7:15pm at The Turnpike, Leigh. Tickets are priced at £5 and £4.50 (concessions).
